Overview

Kairality helps creators research YouTube content and analyze channel performance. This policy describes what we collect, why we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Account data — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth.
  • YouTube channel data — If you connect a channel in Track mode, we access YouTube and YouTube Analytics data authorized by you (video metadata, public statistics, and analytics metrics for your channel).
  • Usage data — Search queries, saved videos, settings, and in-app activity needed to operate the service.
  • Technical data — Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and reliability.

How we use information

  • Authenticate you and provide Idea and Track features.
  • Display research results, analytics dashboards, and saved content.
  • Sync and cache YouTube data you authorize for faster loading.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

Third-party services

We use Google Sign-In, YouTube Data API, and YouTube Analytics API. Their use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data retention

Account and saved content persist while your account is active. YouTube analytics snapshots in Track mode are retained to power historical charts. You may disconnect a channel or delete saved items; contact us to request account deletion.

Security

OAuth tokens for YouTube are encrypted at rest. Access to channel data is limited to authenticated users with appropriate team roles.

Your rights

You may disconnect YouTube, export or delete saved research data where the product provides controls, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account data subject to applicable law.
